A new day.

Hello.
I am Anna.
This is my first Blog…….. I want to welcome you, and I hope you gain something from this.
I want to share a useful insight into loss with you.
You may think of loss as the death of someone and you would be right, however, loss is everywhere and can be about the loss of where you thought you would be in life.
For many of us, the shock of the unexpected can derail us and send us into a downward spiral.
I hold a lyric from a much-loved Bob Marley song in my heart.
“The road of life is rocky, and you may stumble too, so while you point your finger, someone else is judging you.”
It is a cautionary tale!
The road of life is rocky, and I have stumbled on many a journey. I have judged harshly, and I have been judged harshly.
It does not feel nice!
So how do we cope with our stumbles?
Well, please have a look at “Welcome to Holland” by Emily Perl Kingsley.
Let yourself imagine your “road”, feel it under your feet, every step, then imagine that being torn away unexpectedly, totally off plan.
This is loss, and loss is everywhere.
Now loss does not shrink, loss touches every part of our world. But with endeavour and patient support, our world eventually can grow.
Almost imperceptibly, very slowly, but it grows.
So maybe you and I could work together on that.
Maybe you and I can explore Holland.
